Here you will find all our sweaters and jackets, which are knitted top down in one piece. We have classic top down raglans, and also some jumpers that are worked top down with a round yoke. The concept is the same, you start at the neck and work downwards with regular increases. This allows you to try the sweater on again and again to adjust the fit and especially the length exactly.
Since the shoulder stitches merge seamlessly into the sleeves, you basically have a finished sweater hanging on your needle when you cast off the last stitch, no need to sew any parts together. Adjustments to your own figure can easily be integrated into the body, for example by decreasing a few stitches at the waist without having to fundamentally change the pattern. This method is therefore also very popular with beginners.
